Kaden had report card pick up, the girls had errands, and I had my last full day of this school year. We all ended up in the van this morning as the girls drove me to work so they could have the van for the day. I bought them breakfast and took this photo as payment. I love these kids. I love these little moments in time. I love the little things because they turn out to be big things.

Kiandra was promoted from "Host" to "Server" and today was her first shift.

It's been a weekend of reminiscing over photos and memories and today began the process cleaning up and taking down and packing up of all of the things we did over this year. It's been a great year of little things and at the end of the year it is always a little hard to say goodbye.

I've had my fitbit for almost a month now and I've made sure to get in my 10 000 steps each day. Today was a LONG evening walk with Conrad to make up for spending too many hours on the computer getting my Grade 1 DVDs ready to give out this week.

Searching for walking sandals for our upcoming trip because Kaden says the ones I originally bought look too much like "Grandma" shoes. Guess which ones I ended up buying? One pair was on sale from $60 to $29 and one pair was $119 not on sale

That time the church was updating their photo phone book and we had to sneak Kiandra in because technically now that she is 19 she qualifies for her own listing according to the form we filled out. Since they only update the photo directory every few years I wonder how many kids we will have in our next photo directory listing. Until then I will savour this moment with all the kids included...

Kezia captured this moment of the last Wednesday babysitting night. Kiandra and Kezia have been babysitting this family for years. Kiandra started babysitting after school on Wednesdays when she was in Grade 9 and then the girls have shared the job for the last few years. Today was the last day for this job.

Kaden invited me to attend this tonight...and then I walked in late (because I had yearbook) as they were presenting the participation awards for Grade 9 athletes and then sat through the rest of the 2 hours watching the rest of the athletes in the school get recognized....

Our church sponsors a church in the core area of our city. Every year our church has a picnic and this year instead of hosting it at our church they decided to host it at the sponsored church. To pull off this event, people were asked to sign up to volunteer for various jobs. Our family signed up to hand out little invitation bags with goodies to invite people in the neighbourhood to attend the picnic with activities, worship, and free food. Here was the invitation table that was there when we arrived for our volunteer job:
