My laptop has been giving me issues lately and Kiandra's laptop has become the backup for many school assignments and even for Conrad's blog posts. She's taking her laptop with her when she leaves and so it was time to replace mine. I am so happy to have a new one that will work consistently.

I had a consultation with a neurologist for the odd symptoms I have been experiencing since before Christmas. Today's appointment confirmed the need for the MRI because all the tests they have done so far have come back normal. It might be a long wait for the MRI and the neurologist thinks it might be summer before I get an appointment. However, the symptoms have become more manageable which is a real blessing. Now I just have to be still and wait...

So thankful for Kaden's decision to attend the high school close to where I teach. Even with some long days because of volleyball, prodding some mornings to get out the door on time, and some early mornings because of band sectional I am thankful for all the extra hours I have been able to spend with Kaden. What a blessing it has been to drive him each morning and many afternoons. Today I will choose to "Give Thanks" for his choice of high school.

Today was my day to post and the passage today included the first chapters in the book of Job. As I read the passage I thought about how Job reacted to the tragedies in his life. ²¹ And he said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

I'm thankful for our church and the deep friendships our kids have made there. This weekend is the Young Adults retreat and Kiandra and her friend Kara decided to go. My prayer is that their faith walk grows as they begin new things that challenge them and may lead them out of their comfort zone...like an upcoming opportunity in France!

Conrad usually spends his day off running errands and he texted me this pic of the new headlight he picked up for my van and new washer fluid too. Before he left for floor hockey, he replaced the burnt out light and topped up my fluid.

Kaden was sick today and so he didn't go to hockey practice. It was nice to give Kezia the van to get to soccer so I could just stay at home.
